Let’s be honest…. These aren’t as good as the the sausage roll from the gift shop at Corrieshalloch Gorge in Scotland, but THESE ARE THE BEST sausage rolls you’re going to get stateside. Flaky pastry, and a great sausage flavor. A dab of HP Sauce on these, and you’re pretty much standing in the rainy Scottish highlands, looking at some craggy rocks, grazing sheep, getting misted by a wind off The Minch. Megan, Joe, and the crew are doing a proper bang up job making great savory offerings! If they make the lamb curry pie again, GET ON IT! Thanks Ackroyd’s!
We've really been missing British baking and were so happy to find these. Followed cooking directions and they came out flaky and delightful.
Pies and sausages rolls were excellent.
I have to say we do however miss the old days and coming to the store. But we will be back online for more orders.
