The back bacon arrived just partially frozen but, in good shape. Cooked it up and it was very good but, a little different than the Schneider’s Pea Meal bacon that I basically grew up on. Plus, $15 for a half a pound is really a bit pricey.
Hello! Yes, it is different than peameal bacon. Unfortunately, no one makes peameal bacon any longer. We've been looking for it for years!

We live in San Diego and have been orderinf foods from Akroyds for 3 years now, everything is great.
To be honest, I've had better. Not as flavorful as some other British back bacon I've had.
