Let's start first with the Haggis. Delicious. Haggis, Tatties and Neeps for Burns Night with friends. This year we read Tam O'Shanter. And in a bit of cross cultural playfulness, the role of Tatties this year was played by mini Potato Knishes from Yonah Schimmel in NYC. Two great tastes that go great together. This might become a tradition.
Next, delivery. After UPS delayed delivery and then delayed delivery again and again, my package was scheduled to come 5 days after the original delivery date - so 8 days from shipping. Yikes. I called Ackroyd's customer service and was assured that it would probably be fine, but if the haggis was not cold when I opened the package, I should just just let them know and they'd re-ship and submit a claim to UPS. Well, when I opened the package and saw the card about how they shipped using dry ice to help keep the ice packs cold, my concerns evaporated. The ice packs were still mostly solid and the Haggis nice and cold. Well done Ackroyds.
Outstanding as always
Delicious, as always!
When you think of Haggis, you might think it's not good. Not with Ackroyd's Bakery. I bought this for my husband, and he loved it. I was able to get a taste before he finished it.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We are thrilled to hear that you and your husband enjoyed our traditional Scottish Haggis. We take great pride in creating high-quality, delicious products, and we are glad to know that it met your expectations. Thank you for choosing Ackroyd's Bakery. We appreciate your support!
We have made numerous trips to visit Scotland. The food from Ackroyds is the closest you can get without traveling to Scotland yourself. Their scones and Haggis are Amazing. We celebrate Robert Burns Day with as much traditional food as we can get. Order your Haggis before they are sold out! January 25 will be here before you know it
