Not as good as those I ate in Scotland, but they are a close. Would love if you went back to the traditional cherry on top instead of the gummy candy. Delicious!
although different than they used to be they are a better version. larger and tastier.
The empire biscuits are honestly some of the best cookies I’ve ever had. I pray these will forever be made from the same recipe and with the same amount of love. My whole family agrees it’s one of the best things they’ve ever tasted. The raspberry jam in between has such a strong flavor (in other words, it’s perfect and isn’t faint or somehow diluted), and is well balanced with the buttery biscuits. We came back for a second box only two weeks after grabbing the first 😄

Thanks for the kind words regarding the Empire Biscuits! We can explain our prices. Shipping perishable food properly is a difficult thing. We have to make sure everything arrives in great shape. Our cost to ship to you was around $40, so on a $135 order, the cost of shipping accounts for around 30% (not even considering the cost of food, labor, utilities, and everything else businesses have to contend with).
We have to offer 'free' shipping because most people expect it nowadays. Shipping is a double edged sword because if we charged shipping - we would get complaints. Offering free shipping forces us to build some of that cost into the items and then the items are 'so expensive.' It's a truly stressful endeavor trying to walk that line.
