We are one of the largest producers of haggis in the United States. Our haggis is made in the most traditional way possible, in accordance with United States law. Consider haggis somewhere between stuffing and pâté.
A traditional savory blend of steel-cut oats, lamb rib meat, heart, liver, suet and seasoning, hand-stuffed in a natural, thick casing.
All weights are precooked weights. Most small haggis are between .5 to 1 lbs. Presentation haggis are around 1.5 lbs.
Haggis is fully cooked and simply needs to be reheated. For the best taste and results, avoid heating in a microwave oven.

Great Chieftain o’ the Puddin-race
Simply delightful. A welcome addition to our Scottish dinner. Excellent flavour, spice, and the proper haggis aroma, we had hoped to save some for the next day, but we had so missed this dish, that there were NO leftovers to be found. If you’re skeptical, don’t be. This is an incredible, unique dish that will leave you full and content. Paired with the neeps and tatties, this was a night to remember. Haggis - best of the best. Ackroyd’s haggis-on point!

Best Haggis outside of Scotland!
For many years I have been ordering my New Year's Eve haggis from a different company, which has let me down several times in the past few years. I found Ackroyd's Bakery online when looking for an alternative that could ship to me in time, and not only was my haggis delivered on time, but it was a superior quality than what I had been ordering. Perfectly seasoned and delicious!

What an experience
I just recently discovered that I have Scottish ancestry and wanted to try different meals from this part of the world. The first meal I found was Haggis and finding out what Haggis is, had me even more curious to try. This was a great experience and the flavor was out of this world. The balance of spices, and the protein to grain balance just felt right. I unfortunately can't compare it to others, but I would bet that this would be at the top with the best. I am happy to have found Ackroyd's and even happier that it is only a couple miles away from my house.

Heavenly Haggis
Having tried and enjoyed haggis on my first trip to Scotland years ago it’s such a thrill to be able to find quality haggis here. Ackroyd’s haggis is a delightful authentic Scottish joy. I won’t order haggis from anyone else, unless of course, I return to Scotland.

Very very tasty
This is my second order for haggis and I continue to be impressed - tasty, well packaged so when "Addressing the Haggis" you still see what Rabbie Burns describes as "warm reekin rich". I've just added a wee touch of whisky when spooning some out on a separate dish and the guests are impressed. Well done Ackroyd's Bakery. Please try to add the larger one especially for Burns Nicht in January.
