Description

We are one of the largest producers of haggis in the United States. Our haggis is made in the most traditional way possible, in accordance with United States law. Consider haggis somewhere between stuffing and pâté.

A traditional savory blend of steel-cut oats, lamb rib meat, heart, liver, suet and seasoning, hand-stuffed in a natural, thick casing.

Heating & Storage

The following items are fully cooked and simply need to be reheated. For the best taste and results, avoid heating in a microwave oven.

Haggis

If frozen, defrost in fridge overnight before serving. Preheat oven to 325° F. Wrap haggis in foil and place in baking dish. Heat for 60 minutes per pound of haggis.

All items can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.

    I had never had haggis before and was amazed at how heavenly it was!! I love it!! You should try!

    This was my first taste of Haggis. It was in my freezer for 2 1/2 months. I prepared it according to instructions. It was accompanied by roasted potatoes, carrots and celery.

    The taste was mild, I expected a mutton like flovor but was pleasantly suprised at how mild it was. There was no overpowering flavor but one knew that it was "pluck", more like sheep liver pate. The consistancy was pasty, probably due to the oatmeal or because it was frozen for a while.. For me, there could have been more onion (bits).
    added. Since this was my first, overall I was pleased.
