Since 1949, Ackroyd's has been making a full line of a traditional Scottish meats and puddings. Historically, pudding was the British word for dessert. Puddings were considered rustic and homely - mostly eaten by the lower class. Our puddings are not sweet and can consumed by anyone with an interest in traditional foods. Our black pudding, haggis, and mealie pudding are produced in the traditional fashion.
Our sausages are hand ground, seasoned, and stuffed in house using traditional techniques.
